An experienced Risk and General Management Practitioner, Liz has spoken in many countries and to many audiences.
A “thought leader” on Risk Management across the world, she has contributed to work by the Audit Commission, CIPFA, ALARM, AIRMIC and the NAO on the subjects of Governance and Risk Management. In 2000 Liz worked with the Government of New South Wales for the assessment of the legal liabilities transferring from State to Local Government, and has lobbied Brussels on the formulation of environmental laws.
Her two and a half decades in the risk management industry have seen her in a variety of roles including Chief Executive of ALARM (the forum for Risk Management in the Public Sector), Chairman of AIRMIC, European Public Sector Practice Leader for Marsh Group, Operations Director for Equifax in the UK, and Group Risk Manager of a $3bn private sector company. |

Joe has over 35 years experience as a senior executive in the Risk Industry. Recently retired from Marsh and McLennan Companies, his last position there was as an Executive Director of Marsh UK, responsible for the Public Sector business and other speciality Industry and Commerce groups.
His working life has been spent focusing on client issues, particularly those where Risk Management is the primary issue. His wide commercial experience enables him to take a rounded view of Risk in its widest context. |
